Besides being constant reference point of many fashion designers, retro vibe is now present as a trend in fashion photography too! Photographers like Steven Meisel, Mert&Marcus, Terry Richardson, David Sims have shown us their vision of past times. Let’s take a look.

This 20s inspired photo of Maria Carla was shot by Patrick Demarchelier for Vogue Italia.

Another image inspired by the same time comes from Steven Meisel for Vogue US.

Props in these photos vary from bikes to beautiful old timers, and I particularly love the photo with Natalia Vodianova showing us that girls were always falling for the bad guy (:

Sixties were a very exciting decade for fashion, full of changes and liberation! So it comes as no surprise that they are still interesting for many photographers (photos from top down: Arthur Elgort, Mark Seliger, Dean Everard)
